Arrive Beijing, the capital of China, our friendly guide will meet you and transfer to China World Hotel (5 Star).
Day 3 | Sept 19 Beijing (AB)
AM: Attend the trade show.
PM: Visit the Lama Tibetan Monastery and Beijing's Hutongs.
Day 4 | Sept 20 Beijing (AB)
Full day excursion to the Great Wall of China and walk its ramparts, later on visit the museum of Ming Tombs.
Day 5 | Sept 21 Beijing (AB)
Attend the trade show or conference on own.
Day 6 | Sept 22 Beijing (AB,D)
Attend the trade show or conference on own. Evening: Peking Opera (3rd role) and Duck Dinner
Day 7 | Sept 23 Beijing (AB)
Today's sightseeing includes impressive Tiananmen Square, the ancient Forbidden City, the beautiful Summer Palace & the Temple of Heaven where the Qing Emperors worshipped.
Day 8 | Sept 24 Beijing to Xi'an (AB)
Morning flight to Xian, one of the ancient capitals, upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour to the Wild Goose Pagoda & the ancient City Wall.
Day 9 | Sept 25 Xi'an (AB)
Full day sightseeing will include the Excavations of Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, one of the greatest archaeological finds of the century. Enjoy Tang Dynasty Music Show tonight.
Day 10 | Sept 26 Xi'an to Guilin (AB)
Fly Xi'an to Guilin, the most scenic city in China, upon arrival, transfer to hotel (4 Star). Afternoon city tour to the Reed Flute Cave, the limestone formation and Elephant Trunk Hill & Piled Silk Hill.
Day 11 | Sept 27 Guilin to Chongqing (AB)
Embark on a gorgeous cruise on the Li River. Experience the magical beauty of limestone formations and farmland commonly seen in Chinese landscape paintings. At Yangshuo, browse at the free market, then drive back to Guilin through the picturesque countryside.
Fly to Chongqing, transfer to Harbor Plaza Hotel.
Day 12 | Sept 28 Chongqing/Victoria Cruise ship (AB, L, D)
Visit the Zoo to see the giant pandas, the Stillwell Museum and the painters' village. Enjoy a regional dinner in Chongqing, the most hilly city in China. Transfer to board the Victoria Cruise ship and start your downstream journey on the grand Yangtze River. The ship leaves Chongqing at 9:00pm
Day 13 | Sept 29 Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)
Arrive at Fengdu, the legendary Ghost Town. You will visit the Mingshan Hill's temples or Wanxian or Shibaozhai Wooden Tower. Captain's Cocktail Party in the evening.
Day 14 | Sept 30 Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)
The cruise will sail through the most magnificent Qutang Gorge, the first of the Three Gorges. Then you will be transferred to a small sampan for an excursion along the Shengnong Stream to view the Parrot Gorge and Dragon Boat Gorge. Return to the cruise. You will then pass the beautiful Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge. Go through the Three Gorges Dam.
Day 15 | Oct 1 Yangtze River Cruise/Yichang to Shanghai (B)
Morning, you will be taken on a bus to cross the Three Gorges Bridge to see this controversial project up in the close. The project includes the five-step ship lock, the diversion canal, power station and dam construction, arrive Yichang at 12 Noon. Upon arrival, transfer to airport and fly to Shanghai. Check into Huating Hotel & Tower Shanghai.
Day 16 | Oct 2 Shanghai (AB)
Full day city tour includes the Bund (the Waterfront), Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple and Carpet Factory. Enjoy Shanghai Acrobatic Show tonight.
Day 17 | Oct 3 Shanghai to Newark (AB)
Transfer to airport for departure flight.
